Sorry for the delay, I had some business to take care of.

Actor, Blair Underwood was the first African-American character on the HBO series, "Sex And The City". He played Miranda Hobb's boyfriend, Dr. Robert Leeds, and not so many of his female fans were happy with the situation.

But after learning that he has been married to a "black" wife, Desiree DaCosta for 13 years, they began to react differently.

In terms of the black female audience, usually in your body of work if you've proven that you love your sisters (black women) and will come back home, they will give you a pass when you jump ship. I hear it all the time. I heard, "We'll give you a pass because we know you're married to a black woman".

...Good choice of words, but we all know he's bagged a "Melissa" or "Amber" in his lifetime.
