I'm really impressed with Ashanti this go-round. The chick has been making some smart creative decisions. If you don't have "The Declaration", go pick it up now!....It's worth the money......And trust me, I've never said that about an Ashanti album before....LOL!!

The video of Lil Wayne's, "A Millie" premiered today on BET's 106&Park....I'll give you a couple minutes to watch..............................Alright, enough! WTF was that sh*t! I've never seen a video so boring, I'd rather watch that Pretty Ricky, "Cuddle Up" shit than this.

What a waste of a good song. Let's hope the "To Be Continued" part does me some justice!

Janet Jackson is currently developing a new reality television show for MTV. The show will focus on Janet mentoring aspiring singers and dancers, and has already started casting. The untitled project will be shot in the upcoming months as Janet prepares for her "Rock Withchu" world tour, which starts Sept 10.

Producers are still thinking on what the grand prize will be, but it's reported that it will have something to do with the tour.

It's really about finding who's the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher," and we'll find it from a pool of people who you wouldn't typically find it from. We'll go to YMCAs, church groups, local community centers and try to cast the show.

I had to watch this while taking shots of Patron.....It's that hard to swallow!!!

Pretty Ricky's new video for their new single, "Cuddle Up" premiered last night on BET's Access Granted. The video and song also features a new girl group by the name of Butta Cream, who are also signed to the guys label, Blue Star Entertainment......They just remind you of a fake-me-out, wannabe Xscape! Ain't no "just kickin' it" over here. SERIOUSLY!

The groups new album, "80's Babies" hit stores latter this year. The group also has a new member by the name of 4play. He replaces Pleasure, who left to do solo things.

...In my opinion, the group was over before it even started!! But hey, "Grind On Me" still gets the lady's on the dance floor, and shaking that ass!!! YES SIR!!!

Michelle Williams and BET had a little fallen out yesterday. The entertainment channel "reportedly" opted not to play Michelle's new video, "We Break The Dawn" because it wasn't urban enough! The video has been getting heavy play on MTV and MTV2, and Michelle appeared on TRL yesterday to promote the single and her upcoming album, "Unexpected".

The singer also gave her opinion on the whole thing, via her MySpace.

A lot of you guys are wondering why it’s not on BET!!! Well how can I say this without starting any drama……..it may not be ‘urban’ enough!!! Whatever the hell that means!!! (this is the political foolishness we artists go through on a daily basis).

Then a little later, Michelle mended the situation and all with BET is forgiven.....I think anyway...LOL

Hey y’all I wanted to be clear to you guys about BET. They did not reject my video for not being urban. It was just given to the channel this week as my urban radio plan is starting to take effect. The political side that I was referring to was how things happen in stages not always at the time that artist want it, it is a process! My video actually aired on BET yesterday on BET Now which I hosted and I will be hosting another episode on Friday as well. BET is supporting me (I know you guys want to see my in rotation on the channel and I was trying to address the many questions) and you will see ‘Break the Dawn’ on the channel in the weeks to come so keep checking back for dates

...I don't understand that sh*t at all, BET played that Madonna and Justin Timberlake video very heavily.

FRESH BREAKING NEWS: R,KELLY ACQUITTED ON ALL CHARGES

R&B singer, R.Kelly was not found guilty on any of the charges stemming from his child pornography case.

The verdict came six years after the R&B superstar was first charged with videotaping himself having sex with a young girl. Prosecutors had said she was as young as 13 at the time.

The Grammy award-winning singer dabbed his face with a handkerchief and hugged each of his four attorneys after the verdict was read. The singer had faced 15 years in prison if convicted.

Once again I am sorry for the lack of updates for the past two days. I just had to step away from the computer a little bit, I was starting to fall out of love with blogging, it was starting to become a "job" than a hobby. But none the less, I'm all refreshed and ready to get sh*t crackin' again!! I've also have an idea for a new site in the works, don't worry "So Damn Fresh" will remain active.

Ashanti recently had an interview with Men's Health magazine and the singer revealed her "8 Laws of Attraction".

1. Bring On the PDA

"I'm an affectionate girl. I like a man who's not afraid to show his love and grab me and give me a big hug and a kiss. I like when you pick me up. You can even mush me until I say, 'Okay, get away from me.'"

2. Go for Effortless Cool "Don't put on a show for me. That's a turnoff. Your confidence and your swagger have to come from within."

3. Don't Judge "I have to feel like I can tell you anything. I wouldn't want to worry about feeling embarrassed. I don't think I can fall in love with someone I'm not friends with."

4. Love Your Family "I'm a family girl. You have to have a soft spot for your kids, your mom, your dad. That has to be something that can really penetrate your heart."

5. Look Good -- But Not Better Than Me "I don't like dirty shoes. If you have Timberlands, they have to be crispy. White sneakers need to be white. I don't like tight jeans -- your jeans shouldn't be tighter than mine. I definitely don't want my guy to be more groomed than me."

Ashanti covers the June issue of Jet magazine. In the issue Ashanti discusses her new album, Nelly, Murder Inc. rumors, and what took her so long to come back.

From what I've been reading about the reviews of the album, critics are saying that it is very impressive. "The Deceleration" drops in stores tomorrow.

Say what you want, but the chick is looking pretty fine these days.
