A take-home DNA test went on sale today at over 4,363 Rite Aid stores throughout the USA, except for New York.
The kit cost $29.95 and contains a cotton swab, consent form and an envelope. The use of the cotton swab is for the mommy, baby and possible father. Now here's where it gets a little pricey.
After you use the cotton swab and fill out the consent form, you then mail it to a DNA lab along with a $119.00 processing fee! After that, it takes 3-5 business days to get your results by mail or email.
I consider this a gift and a curse. A whole lot of dudes are going to have a dresser draw full of these.
