Is it just me, or do they still seem like the oddest couple? And damn, I never realized how short JD really is until I seen him standing next to her. Thank God for the hat, adding a couple more inches!

The cast of "Girlfriends" are planning on suing their network, "The CW" for not honoring their contract. "Girlfriends", which was in it's eight season fell victim to the writers strike and was unfortunately cancelled. The show made history by being the longest running, African-American sitcom on prime time television. A record that was previously held by, "The Cosby Show".
"The CW" network offered to do a retrospective show, with the cast reflecting on past episodes. But the network only agreed to pay the actors half there salary, thus all of the actors equally pulled out.
I think it's sad that the show had to end in a bad way. I personally never did like "Girlfriends", but for those who did, I agree that the network should have given the show a proper farewell. [SOURCE]

Good news. Four men were arrested early Sunday in connection with the, Hovey Street murder. Yessss! God is good. Justice is served.
For those of you who don't know about the Hovey street(Indianapolis) murders, well here is a brief summary of what happened on this tragic night.
On January 14, 2008, Gina Hunt(24) and Andrea Yarrell(24) were both murder along with their children. Hunt's 23 month-old son, Jordan died at the scene. While Yarrell's four month old daughter died shortly after being taken to the hospital. Both Hunt and Yarrell died at the scene. Officers had initially responded to a report of a break-in on the 3200 block of Hovey Street which proved to be an incorrect address. A few minutes later, they received a follow-up call about a person shot at 3283 Hovey. When they arrived, they found the four victims inside the home, all suffering from gunshot wounds.Witnesses said that they saw two men running from the scene around the time the crime occurred. On January 28th both Hunt and Yarrell were laid to rest, along with their children. ORIGINAL STORY[SOURCE]
Ronald Davis, Dontae Hobson and Zarumin Coleman were arrested on Sunday February 1, 2008 while the fourth man, Jasper Frazier turned himself in three day earlier and told police about the other three involved in the crime. All four men will carry murder charges, but Davis and Hobson carry worse charges. All four men have previous criminal background records.
Sheriff Frank Anderson, the officer residing over the case released a statement to the public, as soon as all four men were captured. To the victims, I wish them, and hope that they rest in peace. And to the ones who did this,I hope there is no peace for them.

I am so glad to hear this. I was kind of pissed that this did not get any national attention. My prayers and thoughts continue to go out to the family of the murdered victims. May you find strength, and know to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.
I hope those four get punished to the fullest extent of the law. They should be put under the jail, never to see daylight again.
